LOGLINE: When the Massachusetts state hero protectorate lose nearly all of their roster to an accident, a diffident 24 year old with angel wings must compete against other recruits from across the state in a hero-selection process that demands its own type of celebrity and showmanship while he constantly questions his significance as his lifelong bully pursues a placement alongside him.

LOGLINE: After being accepted to the renowned scholar-heroic institution that acts as a direct pipeline to a superheroing career, a charismatic and closeted 14 year old aspiring hero with the ability to phase through matter, struggles to navigate his sexuality, image, and capability among peers, all while knowing that his inability to touch another without phasing through makes it impossible for him to pass one of three trials required for further enrollment.

Tyler Olds is a Massachussetts born and raised filmmaker who has utilized the mountainscape of the Berkshires as the setting and inspiration for many of his early works. As he committed his career towards feature writing and directing, he leaned into the type of projects that set his heart on fire: superhero movies, movie musicals, and Beyond!
